Instrumento de viento madera. Los instrumentos de viento madera son los que antiguamente se realizaban de madera. Tienen agujeros y el sonido depende de la longitud del tubo. La embocadura es diferente a los de viento metal.

Wen Yuan C key Dizi with Engraved Poem 文苑C调刻诗笛子. Comprado en Easonmusicstore.
Es una flauta china de bambú en clave de Do con un poema grabado. Está hecha de bambú y en los finales está decorada desde hueso. Tiene una junta de cobre para una buena afinación del instrumento. La flauta está enrollada con nylon para evitar grietas debido a cambios en la temperatura. El sonido es brillante, nítido y claro. Buena para principiantes e intermedios. Viene con un estuche de terciopelo, dimo (membrana) y una pieza de Er Jiao.

数声风笛离亭晚， 君向潇湘我向秦。
En Yangzhou decir adiós al amigo, Zheng Gu
Esos amentos voladores provocan la tristeza de vagabundos, que preparan dejando su ciudad natal en barco.
La brisa está soplando. Vamos a decirnos adiós con las flautas en el Pabellón Liting.
Lo que el poema expresa en realidad la despedida de dos amigos. Uno tiene que ir al norte, y el otro al sur. Se despiden en el Pabellón Liting, o Pabellón Li, un tipo de pabellón donde la gente se despide de sus familiares y amigos. Pero es una despedida de las de nunca olvidar porque esa amistad se tiene en el corazón. Aquí una traducción literal:

Otras Inscripciones
La flauta tiene otra pequeña inscripción que dice 文苑, es decir, Wen Yuan, un lugar en la Antigua China donde poetas y eruditos intercambiaban sus ideas.
Finalmente como curiosidad, cabe añadir lo que pone en la cajita del 笛膜 o dimo, que es la membrana de la flauta. Pone 敦煌笛膜, que significa Dunhuang dimo.

This is a C key Chinese bamboo flute engraved with a Chinese poem. It is made from bamboo and the ends are fashioned from bone. It has a copper joint in the middle for fine tuning of the instrument. The flute is wound with nylon to prevent cracks due to changes in weather conditions. The sound produced is bright, crisp and clear. Good for beginner to intermediate players. Comes with a velvet case, one pack of dimo (flute membrane) and one piece of Er Jiao.

In Yangzhou say goodbye to friend, Zheng Gu
What the poem expresses is the farewell of two friends. One has to go to the north, and other to the south. They are saying goodbye in the Liting Pavilion, or Li Pavilion, a kind of pavilion where people say farewell to the family and friends. But it is a farewell of non-forget, because that friendship is in the heart. Here a literal translation:
Yangtze head Yangliu Chun, Yanghwa worry kill people crossing.

Other Inscriptions
The flute has other little inscription that says 文苑, that is, Wen Yuan, a place in Ancient China where poets and scholars exchanged their ideas.
Finally as curiosity, to add what is said in the little box of the 笛膜 or dimo, that is the flute membrane. What is says is 敦煌笛膜, that means Dunhuang dimo.
Hulusi
葫芦丝. Hulusi. Su significado es hulu “calabaza” y si “seda”. Así, significa calabaza de seda, y hace referencia a su forma, que parece una calabaza, y a su sonido, suave como la seda.
Instrumento de viento madera. Los instrumentos de viento madera son los que antiguamente se realizaban de madera. Tienen agujeros y el sonido depende de la longitud del tubo. La embocadura es diferente a los de viento metal. Este instrumento tiene tres cañas. El central es el principal, y es donde se hace la notación. Una segunda caña produce un sonido de acompañamiento en Re. La tercera caña es de decoración, aunque existen instrumentos en los cuales también produce acompañamiento.

Lo compré porque quería probar algún otro instrumento que fuera asequible, y al probarlo, me sorprendió su sonido, y me encanta.
Inscripción
El hulusi tiene una inscripción la cual no es ningún poema especial, aunque guarda un secreto. La inscripción es 葫芦情歌, y significa “calabaza canción de amor”. Los dos primeros caracteres corresponden a hulu, que significa calabaza. Los otros dos caracteres corresponden a qingge que significa canción de amor. Esta relación entre el hulusi (o la calabaza) y la canción de amor es porque el hulusi es un instrumento tradicional de China el cual los hombres lo utilizaban para enamorar a las mujeres debido a su dulce sonido.

葫芦丝. Hulusi. Its meaning is hulu “cucurbit” and si “silk”. So, it means silk cucurbit, and refers to its form, that seems a cucurbit, and its sound, soft as silk.

The mouth is different from the metal wind instruments one. This instrument has three reeds. The center reed is the main one, and this is where the notation is made. A second reed produces an accompaniment sound in Re. The third reed is just decoration, although there are instruments in which also produces accompaniment.

I bought it because I wanted to try another instrument that was easily to adquire, and when trying it, its sound surprised me, and I love it.
Inscription
The hulusi has an inscription which is no a special poem, though it has a secret. The inscription is 葫芦情歌, and means "cucurbit love song". The first two characters represent hulu, which means cucurbit. The other two characters represent qingge which means love song. This relation between hulusi (or cucurbit) and the love song is because the hulusi is a traditional Chinese instrument which men used to seduce women because of its sweet sound.

La ocarina es un instrumento sencillo, aunque hay que aprender las posiciones de los dedos. El manual está en chino, pero los dibujos son entendibles. Su sonido me recuerda al de los búhos.

The ocarina is a simple instrument, although you need to learn the positions of the fingers. The manual is in chinese, although the drawings are understandable. Its sound reminds me to owls.
